വെറുതെ ഒരു മുജ്ര ഉള്*പ്പെടുത്തിയതല്ലെന്നു പറയുന്നു സംവിധായകന്* ശ്രീറാം. സിനിമയുടെ പ്രമേയവുമായി നല്ല ബന്ധമുണ്ട്. പാക്കിസ്ഥാനിലെ കറാച്ചിയില്* പ്രധാനപ്പെട്ട ചില ഭാഗങ്ങള്* ചിത്രീകരിക്കുന്നുണ്ട്. ഇവിടെയാണ് മുജ്ര ഉള്*പ്പെടുത്തിയിരിക്കുന്നത്. ദില്* മേരാ മുഫ്ത് കാ...എന്ന ഗാനത്തിനു ചുവടു വയ്ക്കുന്നത് സരോജ് ഖാന്*റെ കൊറിയോഗ്രഫിയില്*. ഈ രംഗത്തെക്കുറിച്ചു പറഞ്ഞപ്പോള്* കരീന രേഖയെ വിളിച്ചു. താന്* എത്രയോ തവണ കണ്ടിട്ടുള്ള സലാം-ഇ-ഇഷ്ക് മേരി ജാനിനും ഇന്* ആംഖോം കി മസ്തിക്കും ചുവട് വച്ചപ്പോഴുള്ള അനുഭവങ്ങളെക്കുറിച്ചു ചോദിച്ചു മനസിലാക്കി.

Vidya Balan, Emraan Hashmi To Star In Comedy Film Ghanchakkar

They sizzled on screen with their love-hate relationship in The Dirty Picture, but they’re planning to tickle your funny bone this time. Emraan Hashmi and Vidya Balan will be seen together in the comic-thriller, Ghanchakkar.



Rajkumar Gupta, who worked with Vidya in No One Killed Jessica, will be directing the film, which will be produced by UTV Motion Pictures. Siddharth Roy Kapur, CEO of UTV Motion Pictures says, “It is a pleasure to announce Ghanchakkar, our third film in a row with Rajkumar Gupta, one of the most talented writer-directors in the industry today. Rajkumar and Pervez Sheikh have written a fabulously quirky comic-thriller that will surprise audiences with its many twists and turns.”

Amit Trivedi will compose the music of the film with Amitabh Bhattacharya writing the lyrics. Ghanchakkar is expected to go on floors in August 2012.

Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu, Ekk Deewana Tha: Weekend Box-Office Figures



The Imran Khan-Kareena Kapoor starrer Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu made an approx. Rs. 5 crore (all-India net) over its second weekend at the box-office. This takes the film’s 10-day all-India net to Rs. 37-37.5 crore.

On the other hand, last Friday’s release, the Prateik-Amy Jackson starrer Ekk Deewana Tha, collected a very poor Rs. 2.75-3 crore over its first weekend at the ticket windows.

The other two releases of last week, ? (Question Mark) and Married 2 America, were also very weak.
