thanks ramjith.... three cheers to u
How the mighty keep themselves occupied is mighty interesting. Aditya Chopra and Karan Johar, who are (or should that read who were?) die hard Shah Rukh Khan loyalists are now being swayed by Salman’s popularity.
Honestly Salman’s career seems to divided into two clear slots.
Salman before Dabangg(September 2010) and Salman post Dabangg. A trade source says, “It’s like the BC and AD phase of the Lord.”
Having said that the latest development is really amusing. Aditya wooed Salman relentlessly; even used Katrina Kaif’s good books to get him to sign Ek Tha Tiger with Yashraj.
And the bespectacled director went to Gaiety cinemas, Bandra, in Mumbai to check out the response to Salman’s Ready. Having realised that Salman can bring the house down at the single screens, Adi decided to get a first hand account for himself.
Karan Johar chose Chandan cinema, Juhu, Mumbai another single screen theatre on Friday June 3 to find out the response to Ready. Karan wants Rensil D’Silva(Kurbaan) to make his next film with Salman Khan for Dharma Productions.
Our sourc indicates that even as this piece gets published Rensil will board a flight to Patiala where Salman is shooting for Bodyguard and give the actor a narration. _____________

Mahesh Manjrekar won’t run after Salman but is confident that @BeingSalmanKhan would find time for his good friend’s film as soon as he can….!
Smrity Sharma, TNN | Jun 7, 2011
Mahesh Manjrekar is all set to make the Hindi remake of his Marathi flick Shikshanachya Aaicha Gho.
The 2010 film that addresses the issue of rising suicides among children, had won critical acclaim and Manjrekar now wants the Hindi movie audience too to watch the film. The filmmaker has already zeroed in on the lead actor and it’s none other than his good friend Salman Khan.
In a recent interview, Manjrekar revealed that he has already discussed the film with Salman, who in turn expressed interest in doing the film. However, nothing has been finalized as yet. When asked when he plans to start shooting the film, Manjrekar said, “I haven’t yet decided on the date. I am yet to sign actors for the film. I don’t believe in running after people. In fact I believe that every film has its destiny and will release as and when the right time comes.”
It is known that Salman and Mahesh Manjrekar are very good friends and have worked together in films like Wanted, Dabangg and the recent Ready. Certainly, Manjrekar is confident that Salman would find time for his good friend’s film as soon as he can.
