Salman to co-produce sequels to Chillar Party

They say when Salman Khan decides to do some thing, he puts his heart and soul into it. Well the same is the case with the film Chillar Party. The film, which released earlier this month, opened to rave reviews from critics and audiences alike. Bollywood Hungama has now learnt that Salman is keen on producing not one but two sequels to the film.

Speaking to Vikas Bahl, we are told, "Chillar Party opened so well that we have decided to make 2 sequels to the film. Like before, Salman will be co-producing the film along with UTV. But right now we have just finished writing the script and are currently working on the screenplay for both."

Further on the sequels, Vikas adds, "Chillar Party has since become a brand name so the sequels will be one where the entire gang decides to take Fatka to school along with all the other slum kids, while the second portrays the gang that has become famous the nation over and has now been selected as the think tank for the Olympic squad."

As for the cast of each of the films, Vikas says, "As you know children grow very rapidly, though I would like to keep the same cast, we will need to see whether they have outgrown their roles by the time we are done writing the screenplay."

Katrina will be dancing on 'Aaya Re Aaya Bodyguard' along with Salman

'Aaya Re Aaya Bodyguard'....that's the item song which Katrina would be joyously gyrating to in Bodyguard. Even as Katrina gears up for the challenge of outdoing her 'Sheila Ki Jawaani' number she has a bigger challenge to meet up to.

Salman Khan aka the King Of All He Surveys, will also be part of the song. Apparently, he reasoned that since the song is about his character, Bodyguard ka hona to haq banta hai, boss. Now Ganesh Acharya has been asked to incorporate Salman into Katrina's elaborate item number.

Apparently, Salman wants the number structured like 'Sheila Ki Jawaani' where Akshay Kumar joins Katrina. That is easier said than done.

Says a source, "Salman likes to do his own thing in the dance numbers. Everyone knows in 'Munni Badnaam' he didn't follow Farah Khan's instructions. Katrina will be rigorously rehearsing her steps for 'Aaya Re Aaya Bodyguard'. She wants it to be as perfect as 'Sheila Ki Jawaani'. Salman's improvisations are bound to distract her. But the there is not much she can do about it. Because as Salman pointed out the song is about him, so he has to be part of it."

Bodyguard producer Atul Agnihotri confirms that Salman would be part of Katrina's item number.

There’s a fierce sense of loyalty that emanates from every word that he says. It is no wonder then that Shera, Salman Khan most trusted aide, launched the first look of the latter’s film Bodyguard with much fanfare recently.
While Shera admitted that he was touched by this gesture, he also confessed, “This was a total surprise. I was going about my work at the promotional activity as usual and suddenly I am told by Salman Khan that I have to launch the promo. I was like ‘Main?’ and boss said ‘Haan tum!’ But, what he did after that which was to tell people about how much my work and I mean to him - was what touched me immensely.”
With the star saying that he’ll be finished if Shera decides to write a book, ask Shera if he’s ever been tempted to bare it all and he says, “I’ve never been tempted ever! Honestly. I have always believed in doing my job and my boss Salman Khan is No.1. I can never let him down!”
With the duo redefining the star-bodyguard relationship, isn’t he worried that their ties will ever be strained? He smiles and says, “I’ve been with Salman Khan for almost 15 years now and I don’t interfere in his work and he lets me do my job. It’s worked thus far and will continue to do so in the future, I am sure.”

Salman Khan’s bodyguard Shera insists that Salman has no enemies and he is just there to take care of him in public places and events.

It seems like everything relating to tiger is important in Salman Khan’s life in recent times - whether it’s his next films Ek Tha Tiger and Sher Khan or his bodyguard Shera. Shera, the man who has been closest to Salman Khan for the past 15 years, explains his association with Salman as a relationship of loyalty. “He is my boss, brother and friend”.

Salman recently got Shera to release the first look of his forthcoming film Bodyguard , as a tribute to his real-life bodyguard. “I have been close to Salman bhai for years but I never imagined that I would be given such a huge honour. It was a surprise for me when I was asked to give a speech on him”.

Salman Khan refused an in-film branding offer of Rs 7 crores by a security company and instead chose to wear the uniform of Shera’s company. “You can imagine his liking for me by that. He is a real nice man at heart”, says Shera who also owns a security company called Tiger Security that supplies bodyguards to bigwigs in the industry.

Shera believes a bodyguard has to protect his boss but more importantly he has to be loyal. Ask him if he offered any advice to Salman Khan, who plays bodyguard to Kareena Kapoor in his next film, and Shera says, “Salman has noted me so closely for past many years that he didn’t need any advice. He looks damn smart and handsome in the film”. And would we get to see Shera in a cameo in the film? “The film is still being made so I can’t say anything, as yet”, Shera remains non-committal.

Ask him which heroine suits the best with Salman and he can’t decide on one. “Salman looks good with anyone and everyone be it Kareena or Katrina”. And the question that the world is posing Salman - should he get married? “This is his personal decision so what do I say”. Salman recently mentioned that Shera knows all his secrets. ” Ab Salman bhai ne bol diya… toh bol diya… main kya bolu “, smiles the humble guy.

Shera insists that Salman has no enemies and he is just there to take care of him in public places and events. “I can go to any extent to protect Salman. Jaan bhi de sakta hoon (I can give my life as well)”, exclaims Shera, like a true protector.
