Why this 3D, 3D di? @BeingSalmanKhan refuses offers to convert Ek Tha Tiger into 3D, he doesn’t want to follow his archrival SRK’s footsteps…! #ekthatiger Vickey Lalwani | December 24, 2011

There are trend setters and then there are followers. And Salman Khan is definitely not a follower, especially if his arch rival - SRK- preceded him to it. Apparently, Aditya Chopra and Kabir Khan, the makers of the Salman starrer Ek Tha Tiger, have been approached by many studios to consider converting the 2D film to 3D, which happens to be the latest fascination in the industry. With SRK’s ambitious projects like RA.One and Don 2 having 3D versions, Mumbai Mirror has learnt that Salman point-blank refused to follow suit.
A unit member informed us that Salman was not the only one to turn down the idea though. The unit member explained, “Director Kabir Khan was the first to dismiss making Ek Tha Tiger in 3D. And his decision was strongly supported by Salman, who categorically stated, ‘I don’t believe in herd mentality. The film will not have a cutting edge’.”
According to the unit member, Kabir’s decision has come as a surprise to many in the industry as 3D would work well based the film’s storyline - which includes animal characters and contains several action sequences.
Despite repeated attempts, Kabir Khan and officials from YRF remained unavailable for comment.

Salman Khan: Dashing in Denim at @theFarahKhan-@ShirishKunder’s Party; @BeingSalmanKhan looked swoon worthy in…! Thursday, December 22, 2011
Many Bollywood heavy weights attended Farah Khan and Shirish Kunder’s house warming party in Mumbai on December 20, but from amidst the Khans there was just the one who currently rules - Salman Khan.

Arriving at Farah and Shirish’s Oberoi Sky Heights home in Lokhandwala, Salman looked swoon worthy in dark blue slim fit jeans, white and blue button down shirt, plaid vest and glossy black dress shoes. Clean shaven with tidily swept black hair he looked ready to start the day, even though it was late in the night.
Salman networked with the large number of friends and family attending the event, including brothers Arbaaz Khan and Sohail Khan and their wives, sister Arpita Khan and her husband Atul Agnihotri, and co-stars Zarine Khan, Asin, Katrina Kaif and Sonakshi Sinha.

Happening songs of 2011; Dhinka Chika and Teri Meri from @BeingSalmanKhan’s #Ready and #Bodyguard…! Youthful songs and fresh compositions rule the charts in Bollywood this year, writes Shilpa Raina.
NO item numbers, but original peppy compositions - that was the hallmark of Bollywood music in 2011.
Here is a list of 10 most happening songs of 2011:
4. Dhinka chika: It wasn’t the signature dance step picturised on Salman Khan with his hands in his pockets that made the Ready song a rage. Full on energy, complimented by Mika Singh and Amrita Kak’s voice, the infectious composition by guest composer Devi Shri Prasad, who includded sound of whistles and dhols, forced everyone to shake a leg.
7. Teri Meri: A poignant love song, it was definitely not Himesh Reshammiya’s best composition, but the number stood out in the average music album of Bodyguard. High on Sufi touch, backed by the soulful voices of Rahat Fateh Ali Khan and Shreya Ghoshal, it was the only romantic number that made it to the top 10 charts this year.
