On Saturday evening, Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan and Aamir Khan came under the same roof but at different intervals.
Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan and Aamir Khan in the same space… that’s some news, isn’t it? Of course not together for any film but at an event. It took the Mumbai police to get the three warring Khans of Bollywood come under the same roof but, like their film releases, they came in different time intervals.
On Saturday evening, the three Khans were seen at the Umang Police Function though they never shared stage-space. Perfectionist Aamir Khan was the early bird who performed on 3 Idiots song Aal izz Well.
Salman Khan was undoubtedly the scene-stealer being his usual self on the stage and indulging in some smart repartees with host Manish Paul. Being a police event, he admitted how he loved playing a cop in several films with Dabangg topping the list. Buzz is that Salman came in his chopper directly from the Bigg Boss finale that happened earlier that evening.
Shah Rukh Khan made a late entry by 11:30pm and played cocky with the cops. He was gracious enough to say that while Don ko gyarah mulko ki police dhoond rahi hain, only Mumbai police is capable of catching him.
An important point to be noted is that each Khan arrived only after the other had left. None of their timelines overlapped. Perhaps Mumbai police knows how to maintain law and order in the city.

For all you Dabangg fans, there’s some news. It goes without saying that the plans for the sequel are bigger and better. But that’s not all. Salman Khan recently went a step ahead to promise his fans some ‘big’ fun not just from the sequel but the franchise per se.
On Saturday evening, Salman Khan attended the Umang Police Function and turned the center of attraction especially because he has played a cop in Dabangg. When asked about the sequel, Salman said, “In Dabanng, Chulbul Pandey was a cop from a small town. In Dabangg 2 he will be promoted to a city and will be playing a senior cop from Lucknow”. Also from his corrupt ways in the prequel, he would turn more honest in the sequel.
But Salman Khan didn’t stop there. He promised his fans, “In Dabangg 3, Chulbul Pandey will be posted in Mumbai. Also with each part, his seniority will rise so the third part will see him as the Commissioner of Mumbai Police”. Of course the third part is nowhere in picture as of now but it was the most witty and apt tribute that Salman could give to the Mumbai police at the event.
Interestingly Salman Khan said this in presence of the real Commissioner of Mumbai Police. And before the Commissioner could object, Salman in his trademark style said. “Ek baar jo maine commitment de di, toh main khud ki bhi nahi sunta”. Now that’s some attitude!

Just a while ago, Pooja Bedi accused Salman Khan of favouring Mahek Chahal inside the Bigg Boss house.
Now that Juhi Parmar won the show, jewellery designer Farah Khan Ali hinted at Bedi and tweeted: ‘I believe Juhi won BB5 as I didn’t watch. Guess tht validates d show is nt rigged. A Big Shut up 2 ppl accusng @BeingSalmanKhan of favoritism.’
She added: ‘Personally would have loved @mahekchahal or @sidster to have won. Most Happy Akashdeep lost. Yay yay yay. Ha ha. I know I’m being mean. Nothing against Juhi, just couldn’t imagine how she culd support a loser like Akash. My personal opinion only & nothing will change tht haha. Guess to create drama u need a villain & Sky played his part 2 perfection. Well done Akash. If u were seeking attention,u definitely got it.’
Pooja Bedi, meanwhile, accused the Colors channel of telling former contestants to bash her in press conferences. ‘Taken aback! CHANNEL asked many ex contestants to Bash me in press! sambhavana seth & dolly bindra called 2 tell me they refused to do it! Big THANK YOU to sambhavana, dolly& others for NOT playing along with channel’s ridiculous “bash Pooja” demand! Wow! What’s going on?’ she wrote.
