Salman Khan gets Urdu coach for Jacqueline Fernandes
She might have bagged a Salman Khan film, but that doesn’t mean she’s sitting back, relying on the star’s laurels to make the movie a success. Jacqueline Fernandez is leaving no stone unturned to prepare for Sajid Nadiadwala’s Kick. Other than gaining weight (she has put on over eight kilos),
Jacqueline is now apparently working on her diction too.
And none other than Salman seems to have recommended a coach for the job. “She has been taking Urdu classes as her role requires her to speak the language. Since Salman suggested she do so, he also recommended a well-known Urdu teacher and diction coach called Kamal Anand,” says a source.
Jacqueline says, “I wanted to brush up my Urdu skills. Training with Kamal is pretty challenging, but I am determined.” The young actor began the language lessons over a week ago at her house and she will continue them for another three weeks.
An action-packed drama, Kick is a remake of a Telugu movie of the same name. The film, which will mark Sajid Nadiadwala’s debut as a director, has been scheduled to release on Eid in 2014. The unit will soon resume shooting at Karjat where a whopping R15 crore has been spent to re-create New Delhi’s Connaught Place, Paharganj and Karol Bagh areas.
