    Fergie sweats on Rooney :

Sir Alex Ferguson admits Wayne Rooney is a doubt for Saturday's meeting with Chelsea after limping off in midweek.

"Hopefully it's not too serious. He may be doubtful for Saturday but we don't know, it's too early to say."
Rooney could also be a doubt for the return date with Bayern next Wednesday, as United look to overturn their first leg deficit.

Manchester United wait on Wayne Rooney ankle scan :

Manchester United and England fans are waiting to hear the extent of an ankle injury suffered by striker Wayne Rooney in Tuesday's 2-1 loss to Bayern Munich. He turned his right ankle in the build-up to Bayern's late winner in the Champions League, limping off the pitch and leaving the stadium on crutches.
Rooney, 24, is set for a scan and is a doubt for Saturday's crunch Premier League game with title rivals Chelsea.
United boss Sir Alex Ferguson indicated the injury was "not terribly serious".
However, Rooney's situation will be a concern for Ferguson and England coach Fabio Capello, coming 10 weeks before the start of the World Cup finals in South Africa.

Manchester United fear Wayne Rooney is out for the next month after his ankle injury against Bayern Munich.
Rooney will fly back to Manchester with his team-mates this afternoon before being ferried away for a private MRI scan on the right ankle ligaments he damaged in the final seconds of United's Champions League defeat.
Rooney will definitely miss Saturday's crunch clash with Chelsea although the worst fears, that he might not kick another ball for United this season, endangering his World Cup hopes, appear to have been discounted.
Rooney sustained a sprained ankle which was badly swollen and encased in a protective boot when he left the Allianz Arena to head back to United's nearby hotel.

But ligament damage is feared and while the full extent of the injury will not be clear until after this afternoon's scan, United are gearing up to be without the 34-goal striker until the end of April.
That would mean him missing the Premier League games against Chelsea, Blackburn, Manchester City and Spurs, the second leg against Bayern and at least the first leg of the prospective semi-final against Lyon or Bordeaux should United progress next Wednesday.

Bordeuax had the best defensive record in this season's champions league. Lloris had to make some world class save to deny Bordeuax. The second leg will also be very good. The penalty was really harsh , the defender is not looking at all to the ball , it was accidental. I think Bordeuax will go through.
yeah,,,hope bordeaux goes through...i think they are playing the better football...
