U didnt notice Albas postioning..offlately that was the spot which was troubling us n yesterday yet again..my fears of having attacking FB after we lost Abi was about the same..but cant complain ..vn alba was available for that pirce

Coming to the match..have to give it to madrid..though the were not better than milan..out of the few clear chances they got they scored 3..We played better than in Milan game..i didnt expect to go through either,,,but score line was more than what i expected..thought we played better even when score was 2-0...
there is chance for immediate revenge this weekend (dont think we will win that either )..but i sincerely hope Xavi..Iniesta..messi...Busi is rested until milan game..n sent Cesc to canary islands for 2months .. as we all remember last time our team got two week rest how they played... Hope Tello..Villa..Alexis..thiago..Montoya..all start this weekend and next week...
Then only i see a chance to put up a gud show in CL 2nd leg.. atleast go down fighting !!

I don't think Mourinho is worried about the La Liga title anymore. Copa del Rey will be just a consolation prize to him. But CL is something that can be a hefty compromise and will help end his season in style. Since Barca showed a dip against Milan, Mourinho must be confident that, if he peps up his team well, he could end up with the CL. So, I feel he might sport a good team today and fight till end, sport an okay team in the weekend league game and then bring out his best team to beat the shit out of ManU, which I think is the perfect move.

Cesc ennum oru prashnamanu. Boney has described it beautifully. If the management feels that he is too good, then let him play in the place of Xavi or Iniesta(!!).No problem, if he proves himself in that role. But all the 3 should not be played just for the sake of playing. We are sacrificing a striker/goal scorer.

You are spot on regarding Barca not respecting the opponents strengths.
Barca is not altering their plans depending on the opposition and scenarios.

I have pretty high hopes for Old Trafford. There, as you said, United will invite Madrid to take initiative and score goals. Thus you can neutralize their biggest weopon -'Counter attack with pace'. All the Andalusian teams(Seville,Betis,Malaga,Granada) beat Madrid quite comfortably by giving the ball to Madrid. You ask Sir Alex to watch these matches. It has the blue print to defeat Madrid.
