He has made the biggest blunder by going to Bayern. Time will tell.
Actually man utd shud have been a bit more aggressive and tempting in luring him to old trafford. Cesc inu vendi kaanikunna aavesham thiago de caseil undaayilla.

And the clause that half the money of cesc sale will go to arsenal ennathu evideum vaayichu kandilla. Such a bizzare clause. Athu angane thanneyaano?? Atho vere valla kunushtum undo??

Gonzalo Higuain’s official presentation at Napoli was cancelled today, with the Serie A club giving no official reasons for the cancellation of the event.
The Argentine striker is expected to complete a big-money move to the Italian club, with manager Rafa Benitez hailing him as the perfect signing for the club.
While this is likely to be nothing more than a meaningless delay, many have questioned whether the move could be a reason of a late change in Higuain’s transfer destination, with Arsenal possibly still in the reckoning.

In Thiago's case their might have been a mutual agreement between Pep & him long before ...when United were linked with him there wasn't that much response from Thiago's camp....all of a sudden Pep announced that he wants only Thiago..without any hesitation he jumped the ship immediately...

    Cesc's Barca Deal :
Manchester United could be forced to pay an inflated price for Cesc Fabregas, with Barcelona obliged to give Arsenal half the fee under the terms of his transfer to the Nou Camp. It means Barcelona would have to sell him for about £70million just to break even.
Furthermore, the Gunners could be offered the chance of re-signing the Spaniard for as little as £20million should United formalise their interest.
United are keen on signing the Spain midfielder, but Arsenal will play a key role in determining whether new manager David Moyes can land the midfielder

    Thiago rejects United claims

Bayern Munich's Thiago Alcantara has claimed that Manchester United did not come close to signing him from Barcelona.

Thiago was strongly linked with a move to United this summer before choosing to join Champions League winners Bayern.

On Wednesday, Thiago's father Mazinho told La Xarxa his son "was close" to making the switch to Old Trafford, but the midfielder has appeared to contradict that opinion.

"The truth is that in no moment did United come to us and talk to us. It came from the press, it was always a lie," he told RAC1.

Reflecting on his decision to leave Barcelona, he said: "It's unfair to say I wasn't patient. The club knew my situation. I waited for them, especially before the European Championships, but they never contacted me. I didn't feel valued.

"I wanted to compete. The club knew that I wanted to leave and they didn't do much to change that.

"Everyone looks out for their interests, I wanted to feel valued and I wanted to compete so I decided to leave the club and join Bayern.

"I was waiting and waiting all summer, there was a point when I had to decide.

"All a footballer wants is to play football and I wanted to play, they [Barcelona] didn't do much for me to stay, so here I am."
