LG to intro LG F70 – India’s first budget 4G LTE Smartphone in June

According to the fresh news just came to us via one of our trusted sources, LG India is all set to shake the entire mid-ranged Smartphone market by launching one of the most talked about budget 4G LTE devices LG F70 here in India. The source also confirmed as LG G3 is not going to see the sun light in this month here in India, LG is going to keep its momentum by launching an industry changing device here in India in June.

As of now, 4G LTE is a luxury and only available in high-end devices here in India. Only selected few models are having the privilege. Last March LG introduced its first 4G LTE device here in India with LG G2 4G LTE Smartphone. Then last month they also introduced LG G Pro 2 which is yet another 4G LTE supported device. LG F70 will change the scenario forever.

Currently Bangalore is the only city where 4G LTE networks are available along with Reliance Communications and Bharati Airtel is providing the 4G LTE experience to the masses with their 4G dongle service, soon they are going to introduce the service to calling SIMs in Kolkata.

Earlier this year at MWC, LG shows off this device and revealed the spces of it. The F70 sports a 4.5-inch WVGA display and features KitKat running on a quad-core processor and 1GB of RAM. LG is also touting the sleek removable back, and the 2440mAh battery that resides under it. But what they really seem proud of, and rightfully so, we imagine — is the patented technology that went into the LTE radios.

In a nutshell here are the Key Specifications:

    Processor: 1.2 GHz Quad-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400
    Display: 4.5-inch WVGA IPS (800 x 480, 207 ppi)
Memory: 4/8 GB / 1 GB RAM / microSD slot (up to 32 GB)
    Camera: Rear 5.0MP AF / Front VGA (640 x 480)
    Battery: 2,440mAh (removable)
    Operating System: Android 4.4 KitKat
    Size: 127.2 x 66.4 x 10.0mm
    KNOCK Code/KnockON

Even though the price range is not set, we can only predict that this will be in a range of INR. 17,000-19,000. We will bring more news and hand on experience as soon as it’s available here in India, so stay with us for more. If you want latest news about LG Smartphones join us on Facebook and @LGMobileIndia.
