One of the most anticipated Onam release Mammootty starrer Rajadhi Raja released today. The film is helmed by Ajay Vasudevan and scripted by Udayakrishna-Sibi K Thomas duo. Rajadhi Raja stars Mammootty, Rai Lakshmi,Joju George, Siddique, Joy Mathew and Lena with Mukesh Khanna. The soundtrack is composed by Karthik Raja and BGM is composed by Gopi Sundar. Rajadhi Raja is produced by M. K. Nasser in the banner of Stanly Silvester Consera. Here is the review for the movie.

Shekharan Kutty (Mammmootty) is a common man who lived a dedicated and ideal life for his wife Radha (Raai Lakshmi) and their daughter. One fine day their world turns upside down when Sheran Kutty’s past intervenes their happy life. Sherkharan Kutty has a past of blood and gore, he was underworld kingpin Rajashekhar (Mammootty). Shekharan Kutty is his alias he too for rewriting his fate and to choose a path of redemption. His enemies tracks him down and wants to ruin his small but happy family. Will Shrkharan Kutty be able to rescue his family and himself from the doom? What is the past history of Shekharan Kutty? The movie unwinds on these questions.

Considering a debut film Ajay Vasudevan did an outstanding job. He can be counted as one of the promising debutante directors in 2014. It has been a while since Mammootty was seen in such a massive appearance. While being humble common man who strives to survive in Shekharan Kutty; Rajashekhar is a fearless and ruthless mob boss. Mammootty’s precise dialogue delivery is simply awesome. Raai Lakshmi and Mammootty chemistry proves to be good once again. It is rejoice to see them together once again after Annan Thampi. The supporting cast Siddique,Joy Mathew and Lena is brilliant and did their part quite well.

Editing by Mahesh Narayanan deserves special mention. The cuts were so good that the movie never went out of its flow and grip. The beauty of rural area in the outskirts of Kerala-Tamilnadu border and Mumbai is scooped by the cinematographer Shaji. The movie is one of a kind mass masala entertainer considering the way of portrayal and progress of the story line. Rajadhi Raja is a one man show.

In simple words Rajadhi Raja is a 100% entertainer for this holiday season. For families it is a clean entertainer. Fans will be at epitome of happiness by seeing Mammootty in a mass avatar after the classy role of CK Ragahavan in Munnariyippu. Rajadhi Raja is a mega mass entertainer of megastar Mammootty. Here is the bottomline, Mammootty is back with a bang!
