Sharat is a director who has directed ad films starring Mammootty. The shoot is getting completed in Bangalore. Miya Geroge is the heroine of the realistic thriller film that revolves around jail.

The script has been written by Ajith Poojappura. Jude Sudheer and Juby Nainan are producing the film under the banner J J Productions.

The title of the film Parole has been inspired by the song Parole Kalam, Aristo Suresh rendered on the location of Action Hero Biju.
