What you said in the last sentence is what I meant .. Better roles are written nowadays compared to 2000's .

One reason why audience will not miss todays heroines if they stop acting because apart from movies people get to see more and more beautiful girls in other social media apps like video apps or youtube. Perhaps todays youth is more attracted to them than film heroines. I dont know whether you have heard of them but girls like helen of sparta are making more waves than contemporary heroines. If she stops doing short videos then surely todays youth will miss them more than Aishu or Nimisha quitting movies.

Till late 2010s social media was not that popular. If the youth wanted to see beautiful girls the only option they had is movies/ Tv soaps. Normally youth do not watch TV soaps. So that leaves them with only option of movies

There isn't a single role of Manju in her first innings which wasn't substantial. April 18 , Kaanamarayathu okke annu shobhanayude initial films..pineedu anghotu innale and many others. Not even going to Urvashi's wide range of characters in her first phase.
Compared to 2000s much better roles are written nowadays.

Baaki okke ningal paranjathu correct aanu except last sentence. Ippozhum parayunu Anusree is an underrated actress considering her range of roles.

Ningal enthokkeya parayunneth. Manju, orvasi, kavya or navya were not the best looking actresses during their time. They were not loved because they look good.
This has nothing to do with social media. You know Helen of sparta but family crowd? They watch movies too, why is it that many don't remember them much after that. Why is it that they don't even remember their names despite so much media exposure. But how do we so clearly remember some movie dialogues of manju even after 20 to 25 years.

Very correct. In fact Shobhanaye kaal range ullathayi enikku revathi thonniyittundu. Nalla rolesum kooduthal kittittundu. Shobhana was more commercial . Urvashi and Revathi kazhinje ullu shobhana. Pinne shobhanayude oru limitatation own voice use cheyyan pattittilla unlike Urvashi or Revathi. Poornatha varanam enkil own voice use cheyyanam which todays heroines are all doing.Kavya avasanam aayappo aanu own voice use cheyyan thudangiyathu. Perhaps Meera had that advantage.

Pinne Manju aayi aareyum compare cheyyan pattilla. She is a brand by herself.

Definitely aarum June or great indian kitchen orkilla. Firstly June was not a massive hit. Very few compared to general audience actually watched great Indian kitchen. More ppl will remember om shanti oshana than these two movies. Solely because nazriya is an actress with more charisma and screen presence than the other two.
Pinne ningal paranje social media example engne undennu vechal.
