Good thought process. But should be done via online mode too. As it will avoid lot of confusion and small petty issues at box office counters. A full family planning to watch movie nowadays usually prefer online ticket so that they are sure of getting tickets and avoid rush at the counter.

Thought process is good but the quality of movie also counts. Even if they give such a discount if they deliver a substandard content it will not attract people into theatres. This movie which they offered seems to be that sort. And specially when two other biggies are releasing alongside.....
Not discouraging but if only they had tested this for a better quality movie...

The ticket price should be reconsidered by keeping it at 100 for some time. In 2015 , I have watched so many movies in trivandrum New, Dhanya remya, kairali etc by going to the counter with 100 rs and got the tickets so fast with no questions of chillra undo, change undo shits.
Then they increase the price to 103 for which people have to bring coins. Then came 110 , 115 this was also a shit charge because getting 10 rs note and coins also a task when watching movie as alone.
Once In Ernakulam saritha, I had to give my only 100 rs note available because they didn't have change for 500.
Then once in vanitha theater when ticket price was 118 . If we give 120 they didn't give any balance.
Yes later on some theaters did bring POS machines, UPI but nothing can beat the fast transaction of giving a 100 rs note also UPI cannot be 100 percent successful which again defeat the purpose. Even debit card also u have to enter pin. So time is taken.
This situation I experienced in PVR lulu where they ask so many questions where to sit, phone number for sending tickets to mobile phone. This irritates a person who is standing behind in the queue. Also irritates a person who came at last minute to watch a movie and then bombarded with these questions.

A strict punishment against piracy is absent in our state. My take is if you really want to watch movies watch it via theatre or via OTT or via television.
Affordability of OTT and theatre tickets cannot be considered as an excuse for indulging in such heinous act. Because I have seen so called middle class people who claim that they cannot afford a movie ticket buying a mobile phone for Rs.40 k/- Nobody is forcing them to go to theatre or subscribe to OTT platforms and to watch a movie. If they really want to watch a latest movie they should spend money or wait until it is premiered on television
When Great Indian Kitchen released many of my friends told me that it is available on telegram. But I told them I will watch only thru OTT platform
And I also feel sorry for people who justify piracy as a method for people who cannot afford to watch movies in theatres.
In one way all youth stars of ours are doing mistakes which indirectly is creating a situation that there is no bankable star except for Prithvi:-
1) Fahad:- Not at all promoting his movies. His attitude is like if you want watch my movie if not dont. But I will never promote my movies nor allow them to be dubbed into other languages
2) DQ:- Rising superstar of Mollywood who is very active in all other woods except mollywood
3) NP:- A very casual and dont care attitude about his figure now. Unless he reduces his weight success is going to evade him
4) Tovino:- Back to back films which have nothing new to offer to the audience and ends up being big disasters
5) Asif Ali:- Another actor who signs films left right and centre and now somewhat similar career graph of Tovino
6) Jayasurya:- Ages since we saw in an entertainer film. He has a regular loyal team like Renjith Shankar and Prajesh who makes below average movies which we cannot sit through even for OTT viewing
7) Pranav:- Not interested in acting .Better off as a travel blogger...
I see a bright future in Mathew, Naslen and Anthony pepe provided they dont repeat same mistakes which the above 6 did
Idhil as of now Fahad maathram aanu Pan Indian appeal undaaki eduthittulladhu...... Prithvi might get it after his upcoming roles in OL films, but still to get there in spite of his attempts. But considering frendships and relationships in other industries Prithvi is way ahead of others, which tell us about his very forward looking planning. Other stars are much junior compared to Prithvi. So let them enjoy the roles. Business will come on its own if they do good roles and movies, like what is happening for Fahad.....
