Englans was one f my fav team till 98 WC..

after they started playing with coaches, supposed good players for club not performing for country, hype etc.. natural hate started to develop..

i dont if u watched the euro 96.. they had an amazing player in Gascogine.. along with shearer they lit up that euro.. superb performace, but were unlucky to go out on penalties.. have never seen another english player like gascogine..
after that england were just paper pulis..

no i didnt watch that... the first euro i watched was euro 2000...

agreed that the players havent been performing for country to their full potential.. probably because the main engine room of england play for different clubs unlike germany or spain where the core unit plays for same clubs and hence have more sync...
