ECB keen to speak to Owais Shah over alleged spot-fixing in Indian Premier League
Owais Shah is set to be interviewed by the England and Wales Cricket Board’s anti-corruption unit as the Indian Premier League fixing investigation widened on Friday.
Shah and the whole Rajasthan Royals squad, as well as their Bollywood star owner, Shilpa Shetty, are also expected to be interviewed by Delhi police next week. Three Rajasthan players, Sreesanth, Ajit Chandila and Ankeet Chavan, were arrested on Thursday for spot-fixing offences allegedly committed in three matches of the current IPL.
