The hot buzz in the tinsel town is Bollywood babe Alia Bhatt of Two States fame has been approached to play the lead role opposite Mollywood actor Dulquer Salmaan in Mani Ratnam’s next. Touted to be an intense romantic film, Mani Ratnam has retained his regular, AR Rahman for the music, say sources. But Alia Bhatt’s camp has denied any such development. “To the best of my knowledge, there is nothing in the offing with Mani Ratnam,” said Alia’s spokesperson.
Meanwhile, Dulquer Salmaan has neither refuted nor approved the reports. “Any confirmation or denial about my projects is done by directors,” said Dulqueer to a daily.
