ഒകെ കണ്*മണിയിലൂടെ തമിഴകത്തിന്*റെയും കണ്*മണിയായി മാറിയ ദുല്*ക്കര്* സല്*മാന്* തന്*റെ താരപദവി ഒന്നുകൂടെ ഭദ്രമാക്കാന്* ഒരുങ്ങുകയാണ്. ഒകെ കണ്*മണിയ്ക്ക് ശേഷം മണിരത്നം സംവിധാനം ചെയ്യുന്ന അടുത്ത ചിത്രത്തിലും ദുല്*ക്കര്* തന്നെയാണ് നായകന്*. മലയാളത്തില്* നിന്നല്ല തമിഴകത്ത് നിന്നുപോലും മറ്റൊരു യുവതാരത്തിനും ലഭിക്കാത്ത ഭാഗ്യമാണ് ദുല്*ക്കറിനെ തേടിയെത്തിരിക്കുന്നത്.

മണിരത്നത്തിന്*റെ മദ്രാസ് ടാക്കീസ് തന്നെ നിര്*മിക്കുന്ന ചിത്രത്തില്* കാര്*ത്തിയാണ് ദുല്*ക്കറിനൊപ്പം മറ്റൊരു പ്രധാനവേഷം ചെയ്യുന്നത്. ചിത്രത്തിനായി രണ്ടു പേരുകളും മണിരത്നം രജിസ്റ്റര്* ചെയ്ത് കഴിഞ്ഞു. കോമാളി, ഉന്* പാര്*വൈക്കു മട്ടും ഇതു രണ്ടുമാണ് ചിത്രത്തിനായി നിര്*ദ്ദേശിച്ചിരിക്കുന്ന പേരുകള്*.


എ. ആര്* റഹ്മാന്* തന്നെയാണ് സംഗീതം. ഛായാഗ്രഹണം പി.സി ശ്രീറാം. എഡിറ്റിങ്- ആന്*റണി. ചിത്രത്തിലെ മറ്റുതാരങ്ങളെ തീരുമാനിച്ചിട്ടില്ല. ശ്രുതി ഹാസനും ഐശ്വരെ റായിയെയും പരിഗണിക്കുന്നുണ്ടെങ്കിലും ഇക്കാര്യത്തില്* ഔദ്യോഗികസ്ഥിരീകരണം ഉണ്ടായിട്ടില്ല.

It looks like M— town's snazzy star Dulquer Salmaan has impressed hit maker Mani Ratnam through their very first collaboration, O Kadhal Kanmani (OK Kanmani).

Dulquer, whose performance in the film even impressed Amitabh Bachchan, is apparently been roped in for the director's next movie as well! While there is no official confirmation yet, it is reliably learnt that Dulquer and Karthi are the leads in Mani Ratnam's next movie.

While rumours are rife that he is also considering Shruti Haasan for the female lead, our sources reveal that the pretty lady is not part of Mani's immediate next.

OK Kanmani had enjoyed rave reviews and popularity across states and it dealt with the theme of live-in relationships. However, it is not known what would be the theme of the next movie by the ace director. As Mani Ratnam is known for his metro-based romance stories, whether one can expect a similar film from the director's hands or not is yet to be known.
