Wide release is required. But if this is not possible why are they not going for worldwide release. If they release in G.C.C and Europe on the same day then we can get record initials and collect at least 20 crores in the first week itself. So in the long run we can have more 100 crore clubs.

Worldwide release is possible , but there are some technical and financial difficulties unless and until there is a committed base for the industry and its stars. Releasing Malayalam movies in Gulf Countries is not a big challenge, but other markets ( USA and Europe) is definitely hard. Malayalam movies normally get viewers only during the weekend, and that too only for movies with good promotion and WOM. Most of the multiplexes are looking for one week lease and 80 % of those shows are hardly attended by anyone. The promotion of Malayalam movies are really bad compared to Tamil and Telugu movies.
Yes, but no justification for malayalam movies not releasing in gcc in same week or at least after 1 week .even for recently released successful movies it didn't happen.as you said outside gcc mostly only weekend shows works for malayalam movies right now. But thing will change soon as in recent years heavy immigration to western countries.tens of thousands of malayalees are coming every year.so it will take some to settle things. But for gcc no justification ,now even after 2 weeks no movies coming overseas, may be they are waiting for some pirated versions to come up
