u sort of make ur opinion on the movie when u watch it the first time... that most often than not wud be the true perspective..
ustad hotel and bangalore days were average mvoies with cliches galore.... but they r highly regarded.. so that dosent mean it changes my opinion on the movie....

Charlie was a very well made movie and deservingly received eight state awards. DQ was simply awesome. He is fortunate to be part such incredible movies that appeal to both critics and normal viewers at the early stage of his career.

charlie is not brilliant throughout, but it does have many brilliant moments...there is something in it that makes it very re-watchable...music/cinematography/performance were top notch..

Stating that if people call a movie 'brilliant', then one needs to find a different adjective for movies of your liking isn't 'informal dialogue'!. It's stating dislike because their tastes do not match yours. It's fine to dislike an actor or a movie he stars in, you may state your reasons as well. Albeit, it's tasteless to ridicule when others do not share your same opinion.

Kali was a below average affair for me.
If not for DQ, it would've failed miserably.
100 DoL was far better for me.
