If you don't have android and have no plan to change tv in 2 years, android TV box is best option.There are plenty of Android box available on market,some known brands and plenty of new brands.
If you want to use dth and android tv box in single interface,you have to go for hybrid android TV box. Hybrid box are bit more expensive than normal boxes. Not too much.

Another option is,
If you want to use dth and android TV box separately, connect those separately with HDMI cables but you can only use one at a time which means,you have to choose other in TV input options like
Hdmi 1- Dth
Hdmi 2- Android box.

i am thinking of getting tv only using internet....no dish...ingane internet tv aanu USil okke trend ippol due to the availabilty of fast broadband....naattil asianet broadband 25mbps connection eduthittu internet tv aakkan aanu plan....but looks like there are no service providers....maybe internet tv still has not caught up in india.

btw, you talked about yupp tv....but there is no package information on their website....where can we see their package info?

in the country selector on the top of the page, there is "rest of the world"....maybe that is the rate for india...it is USD 20 per month....but there is no asianet and surya.
