that depends on how you would like to have it... for me, i would prefer to go to a sports bar with my friends instead of sit at home all alone, uncork a bottle and watch a match on tv all religious festivals and functions are meant for people to come together and spend time together... religions don't serve their purpose if one does not prefer to come out of his house...

maramon, kumbanad, thiruvalla... Athu elam Pathanamthitta jilla analo. So u r referring to Malanakra groups like Marthoma, & Jacobite/Orthodox. From my personal experience agane convert cheythu pogan chance ulathu ee groups il ulavar thaneyya. Avarku kanditu own denominations ne pati adhikam base ilatheya valarthiya konda. Especially Marthoma kar. Avaru oru "Protestant" group thanneya. That split off from Jacobite Church in 1898 or so. Its only a matter of time as to how "Protestantized" they will get. Extreme level il ethiya they could turn to Pentecostalism or evangelical sects.
