Asif Ali has grown into a great actor. I hated him before but after seeing his performances especially in Kettiyolaan ente Malaakha I became a huge fan.

I think like a lot of actors, pairing with good directors makes a huge difference.

Thats correct. There are some directors who extract performances from worst actors. One of them being Mani Ratnam . Even a very bad actress like Esha Deol was good working under him

I wish this movie become successful. I like Nivin Pauly , Asif Ali for obvious reasons. They really have to stay successful in industry to challenge all NEPOTISM in youths. That is a requirement for any upcoming aspiring actors who don't have any film background. Otherwise, our industry will be worst like Telugu and Hindi.

I felt like Fafa , Prithvi and Dq together try to ignore or side down Nivin and Asif . They made a posting family pics together, wising each other's birthdays.

    RIP Sushant Singh Rajput .

Very true. Mollywood never had nepotism in its 80's and 90's . But now its becoming more and more rampant.

But let FAFA, Prithvi and DQ also succeed and actors like NP and Asif should succeed.

More the competition the merrier. It will only increase the quality of products

Nepotism hurts the industry when they block the others from progressing. Athu malayalathil illa. In fact prithvi and dq have only encouraged others.
Pinne prithvi and fafa succeeded only through their efforts. Rendu perdeyum career was almost over at some point but they came back strongly. DQ anganethe challenges face cheythitilla but he too carved out his own space.
Pinne ivarde relationship okke pandu thotte ullathelle. All of us have relationships like that. Its just that they are from the film fraternity that you feel that way.

Firstly, It was Vineeth Sreenivasan, from a film family that made Nivin the star he is today (or what's left of it!). Launched Nivin in Malarvadi, and gave him some of his biggest hits Thattathin Marayathu, Vadakkan Selfie, Jacon Swargarajyam etc.... So perhaps nepotism is to thank there.

Second, No stars or their sons/daughters have asked Nivin to act or not to act. His movie choices are completely his own responsibility.

Finally, Nivin's diet control (or lack thereof) has nothing to do with Prithvi, Pranav, Fahad, DQ, KuBo etc.... Nivin feeds himself. The difference in physical appearance comes down to the discipline each of them maintains in life. Do you think Vineeth could have cast Nivin as a college student in Hridayam in his current state?

There is no need to drag Sushant Singh into this, plenty of stars with no prior movie backgrounds have made their mark in Malayalam cinema and will continue to do so.

I think what he is saying them hanging out together and posting pics. I think thats because these guys Fafa, Prithvi and DQ are much less like the rest. They lived in luxury and are upper class people, so they get really along with people like that with the same sort of upbringing and interests.

Whereas if you look at Nivin his friendship circle is an entirely different, its people who are much more down to earth and not that pretentious even if they are from such backgrounds( (eg, dhyan and vineeth). Same goes with Asif Ali. These are normal guys who made it big so their friendship circles are normal folks like themself. I dont think Asif Ali and Nivin Pauly crack jokes in English and speak in English more than in Malayalam. Whereas the rest do.

Ithu sheri aann enna alle parayunne.. but thats probably a huge reason. Ive heard that prithviraj only hangs with people who can speak with him in English. He prefers to hang around a bit more sensible people.

Enn vech English ariyavuna alkaru mathram sensible anenn Njan parayanna alla.. anganeyaan industry circlesil pothuve kettirikunne.. eg. his closest new associates Jakes Bejoy, Nirmal Sahadev and Jenuse Mohamed (director of Nine) they all speak English and have a bit more upper class mentality.
