None of the amal movie has a repeat value....recent trp of bheeshma is a perfect example...

He just cater a certain age group....

There are much more wider audience to see the so described telugu rajapatt than any amal neerads movie...amal is a good technician but for story telling as director, he is just average till date

Big films are being postponed or delayed indefinttely.

Both Onam and Pooja being very dull at box office and now Diwali too.

Is it poor planning? What could be the exact reason?

Since the reopening of cinemas Malayalam industry is not sticking to the calendar properly. This is so irritating.
Even we know the next mission impossible movie is getting release in July 2023. But for Malayalam industry we are still not sure that when a movie is going to be release. Eg, nivin pauly 3 movies have missed the deadline or original release date and then are released at a random date.
Rorschach could have been a good onam release.
19th century could have released 1 week earlier.
The less said about Gold, the better.

The last time we had a proper onam movie release was in 2017.
Even I find velipandte pusthakam, pulikaaran stara to be decent entertainers. 2019 was a horrible thing and I feel proud that I didn't watch shit movies like LAD, ittimani in theaters.

LAD is far better than pullikaran stara and velipadinte pusthakam put together. It was a good entertainer.
